Three-way Valve Action Mode and Fluid Direction

Notes: When designing and ordering three-way valves, be sure to indicate whether the flow of the main channel increases or decreases when
the pressure of the air chamber increases, or whether the main channel is open or closed when the air is cut off, that is to say, the posi-
tive/reverse action mode when confluence and the positive/reverse action mode when diffluence shall be clarified, otherwise, the ac-
tuator cannot be selected correctly. In short:
1. Determine whether to divert or combine.
2. Specify the flow direction of the valve in case of air failure (air source failure) and the valve position status (normally closed or
normally open) of the actuator.
3. Specify the flow direction of the corresponding valve when the 4mA signal is input.

The unit of nominal pressure PN in the above table is bar. The flange end face distance L is manufactured according to series 1 by default, or series 2. Series 1 and 2 are the differences of valve body types.
The flange is manufactured according to JB/T79-1994 standard by default, and can also be manufactured according to the standards specified by the users, such as GB/T9124, HG/T20592, ANSI, JIS, DIN, etc.
