Working Principle

The pressure at the set point is transmitted to the actuator through a pressure conduit, which causes the actuator to act and establish a dynamic

balance with the spring.When the pressure at the set point changes, the balance is broken, and the spring generates a force that moves the valve

core up and down, causing the set point pressure to return to the set value.

Determination of the Action Mode of the Complete Machine

1. Self-actuated pressure control valve type 2 is a control valve that controls the pressure before the valve. The initial position of the valve core is in the closed position.When the pressure before the valve gradually increases, the valve gradually opens when it exceeds the set value, until the pressure before the valve stabilizes at the required set value.
2. Self-actuated pressure control valve type 1 is a control valve that controls the pressure behind the valve. The initial position of the valve core is in the open position.When the pressure behind the valve gradually increases, the valve gradually closes when it exceeds the set value, until the pressure behind the valve stabilizes at the required set value.

Pressure Control Range-Control the Pressure Before or After the Valve or the Two-point Pressure Difference

(Take the diaphragm actuator as an example, and consult our customer service or sales personnel separately for 1000~3000KPa)

Notes:

1. The segmented range of the pressure control valve is shown in the table above. The control pressure should be selected near the intermediate value as much as possible. The smaller the pressure range, the higher the accuracy, so it needs to be used within the pressure set range.
2. If the differential pressure ratio between the front and rear of the self actuated pressure control valve behind the control valve exceeds 10, it is necessary touse multi-level pressure reduction or two self actuated pressure regulating valves in series (except when the pressure before the valve is less than 0.8MPa, a pressure regulating valve with a commander can be selected).
3. If the nominal pressure exceeds 6.3MPa, special design is required.
4. The minimum control pressure (front-valve, after-valve, two point pressure differential) of this series of control valves is 15KPa.For the pressure type behind the control valve, when the set pressure is<15KPa, please select the T965 series control valve with a commander or the T961 series micro pressure control valve; control front-valve pressure type, when the set pressure is<15KPa, please select T961 series micro pressure control valve; control the two-point pressure differential type, when the set pressure is<15KPa, please select the T961 series micro pressure control valve.

The self-actuated pressure control valve itself is a control system, which has certain pressure drop requirements. To ensure that the control

valve with after-valve pressure control is within a certain range, the pressure before the valve must reach a certain value. The specific relationship

is shown in the table below:

Installation Method of Self-actuated Pressure Control Valve

Installation instructions:
P1: Control gas, pressure control type before valve, filter 1 may not be installed.
P2: Control gas, pressure control type after valve, filter 1 may not be installed.
P3: Control liquid,  pressure control type before valve, for non-clean fluid, filter 1 should be installed.
P4: Control liquid, pressure control type after valve, for non-clean fluid, filter 1 should be installed.
P5: Control steam,  pressure control type before valve, condenser 4 should be installed, and filter 1 is recommended.
P6: Control steam, pressure control type after valve, condenser 4 should be installed, and filter 1 is recommended.

Notes:

1. When installing the condenser, pay attention to the position of the condenser so that it is higher than the bottom of the actuator and lower than the main pipe to ensure that the condenser is filled with condensate.
2. During installation, the distance from the pressure tapping point in front of the control valve to the center hole X2≥6×DN, distance from the pressure tapping point behind the valve to the center hole X1≥6×DN.
3. In order to facilitate on-site maintenance and operation, appropriate space should be left around the control valve, and globe valves and bypass manual valves shouldbe installed in front of and behind the valve.
4. When the control valve diameter DN≥100mm, a fixed bracket should be installed. The diameter of the filter and globe valve cannot be smaller than the pipe diameter,except for the self-actuated control valve.
5. The control valve has been adjusted according to the set value before leaving the factory. If the user wishes to change the set value, or if the actual value deviatesfrom the set value for some reasons, he can use the adjusting rod to rotate the adjusting plate, clockwise to decrease pressure, and counterclockwise to increase pressure.

1. The unit of nominal pressure PN in the above table is bar. The flange end distance L is manufactured according to series 1 by default, or series 2 by default. Series 1 and 2 are the differences of valve body types.
