Product Details

Summary of Product Characteristics

Pneumatic discharge valve is installed at the bottom of vessel, reaction kettle and storage tank. It is used for sampling,
material layout, material feeding and turning off without dead zone. It simultaneously removes residues at the bottom
of the container. Disc consists of uplifting&dropping type which means upward type&downward type. The difference
is that the disc of upward type goes upward to discharge material and downward type goes down to discharge material.
It can also be customized plunger type structure according to working condition requirements. Pneumatic discharge
valve is widely used in high viscosity liquid containing fiber fluid, easily crystallized fluid, sedimentary fluid, particle
fluid and so on. It’s specially used for discharging material at the bottom of storage tank and reaction kettle. That´s why
it´s also named bottom kettle valve.
Typical Characteristics:
01. Inverted installation, approximately linear flow channel, small flow resistance, no dead angle, small pressure drop loss
02. Sealing surface is overlaying stellite alloy. It´s wear-resisting, corrosion-resisting and high temp. resisting,
suitable for high temperature and containing solid particle medium and other harsh environment
03. The sealing surface after precision machining, leakage level Ⅳ or above, soft sealing can reach zero leakage
04. According to the need, optional diaphragm type, piston type pneumatic actuator and stroke switch, etc.
05. Applicable temp.: Normal Ib: -29～150℃, special Ia: -29～250℃, Ⅲa: -29～350℃, Ⅲb: -29～450℃, Ⅳa: -29～595℃
06. Valve disc sealing material: Carbon steel normal alloy steel, stainless steel normal body material, special PTFE, PPL,
hard alloy
07. Valve body material: Cast steel WCB (code: C), SS304 (code: B), SS316 (code: R), SS316L (code: L), chrome-
molybdenum steel (code: I)

Inlet flange of normal downward pneumatic discharge valve is bigger than the size of outlet flange, the size of inlet and outlet flange of upward pneumatic discharge valve are the same, inlet matching flange has been equipped before leaving the factory.
The data in the table above is external dimension of pneumatic piston discharge valve with PN16bar, the height H of pneumatic diaphragm discharge valve is that the data above minus 40, other sizes are the same as the dimension in the table above.
The flange is made according to JB/T79-1994, can also be customized, such as: GB/T9124, HG/T20592, ANSI, JIS, DIN, etc.
